The ELab Tablet Hardness Tester DM 500, is a compact instrument for the manual measurement of hardness of tablets, sugar coating, oblong and similar dosage form.
The instrument is made in strict compliance with the EP 2.9.8 and USP 1217 Pharmacopeia.
DM 500 is very easy to use.
Measurements from 1 to 28 mm are possible.
With a special modification of the instument is possible to read tablets with a larger diameter.
A load celll with trasducer measures the hardness. The standard measuring range is from 1 to 500 Newton

The results could be stored in a memory and printed with a mini-printer (optional) or send to PC via RS232.
